Walkley Award winning political cartoonist Paul Zanetti and wife Michelle have listed Eldorado, their Gold Coast hinterland estate.

The couple had the Tallai home built in 2004 with inspiration of modernist homes in the Bel Air Hills and Palm Springs in the Hollywood Hills.

They paid $170,000 for the four hectare parcel on The Panorama in 2001.

The home has four bedrooms and a living space with a modern wet bar and a double-sided open fireplace separating it from the dining room.

The living room flows to the wrap around terrace which leads to the swimming pool and cabana, also with a bar.

Queensland Sotheby's agents Isaac Genc and Kelly Hutchinson have the listing.

Zanetti won the Walkley Award for the best editorial cartoon at the age of 23.
