A luxury Darlinghurst apartment with Harbour Bridge and Rushcutters Bay views has been sold for $2.9 million.

It sold through Bresic Whitney agents Di Grundy and Darren Pearce who had a $3 million buyers' guide for the Taylor family. 

The Kings Cross Road apartment is located on the 16th floor of the Engelen Moore-designed Altair building. 

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom property features a wall of glass separating the entertaining terrace from the living room.

The 145 sqm of north-facing space has a flexible floorpan with study space, a contemporary kitchen, and bedrooms with balconies. 

There are also has two car spaces.   

The property was last sold in 2013 for $1,635,000 and previously sold for $1,375,000 in 2006.
