A former Newtown neighbourhood bakery, listed with $3.3 million price hopes, has been sold for $3.75 million by Alison Chamberlain and Stephen from Original Finish.

They are downsizing and recalibrating their business.

The Hennings Lane has been a working upholsterer’s and antiques workshop for the last three decades. It sold pre-auctioned through William Phillips at BresicWhitney.

Content has recently been given for conversion into a home given its residential 2B zoning.

Set on a 292 sqm lot, the warehouse has painted brick walls and exposed steel and timber beams.

Skylights flood the interiors spaces with light.

It comes with original barn doors as well as polished and painted timber floorboards.
