Alba Longa, the restored Queen Anne style home on Burwood's Appian Way, has been listed for sale.

There are $4 million plus hopes for the six bedroom, four bathroom 1907 home.

It was renovated in 2003.

The 1,796 square metre holding has been scheduled for 28 March auction through Richardson & Wrench Strathfield.

Listing agent Chris Virgona rightly says Appian Way is regarded as one of the most exclusive addresses in Sydney.

Alba Longa comes with all the period features – marble and cast iron fireplaces, stained glass and leadlight windows, picture rails and ceiling rose.

At the end of the Japanese elm lined driveway, there is a self-contained granny flat.

It last traded for $1,008,500 in 1997.
