BWM Group founding partner and adman Rob Belgiovane has settled on his $6.5 million purchase of the Mosman home of former BOQ chief Stuart Grimshaw.

Grimshaw had paid $4.85 million for the four level Chinaman's Beach home in 2011.

Offered with a private beach, the home was designed by architect Guy De Compeigne and has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The sale came with a DA approval with Burton Kay Halliday designs.

Grimshaw and wife Anneliese are off to Texas, where he has taken a role as the executive chairman of pawnbroking US EZCORP Group.

Belgiovane has lived in the expensive suburb before.

He sold his renovated Balmoral slopes home for $5,575,000, well over double his $2.46 million purchase in 2011.
