Actor Nadine Garner has sold her Bentleigh East home for $1.08 million.

Garner, who has been around since playing Tamara on The Henderson Kids in the mid-1990s, bought 26 Paloma Street in 2008 for $860,000.

The five bedroom, three bathroom home had $820,000 to $890,000 price guidance.

Tara Ferrier of Hodges auctioned the 620 square metre property.

She is currently filming the third season of The Doctor Blake Mysteries.

Garner, her husband Cameron Barnett and two sons, Eden and Jem, are moving to the northern suburbs to be closer to the boys’ school.

RP Data puts the suburb's house median at $780,000.
