Veteran actor Denise Roberts is selling her Hunters Hill bush retreat, which boasts a striking pine timber facade.

It was built by her father, the master builder David Robertson in the 1990s.

The privately set, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home goes to September 7 auction through Tracey Dixon at McGrath who is expecting around $1.89 million.

Dixon says the home, located near Lane Cove Valley walking trails, has numerous picture windows designed to enhance its leafy aspect.

There’s a triple carport and studio/home office.

Roberts, best known for her seven-year stint on the ABC series GP, has been working in the industry since 1980.
