It was marketed as the closest to the beach as is possible in Perth.

The 5/11 Perlinte View, North Coogee offering had a reduced $1,195,000 asking price through Jon Brady and Fleur Schrader at Acton.

It fetched $1.15 million.

The three bedroom, two bathroom apartment is close to the Omeo (1905) dive wreck just meters from the shore.

Nearby iconic Coogee jetty was chosen for the state's first safe swimming enclosure ideal for morning laps and a pontoon slide for kids. There's cafes, the fitness centre and surf club.

The apartment's living/dining area comes with Regal Oak floor by Godfrey Hurst with acoustic underlay.

The double glazing to all windows with argon fill and exterior walls of concrete with 60mm polystyrene internal lining contribute to its 9 star energy efficiency.

It had been for sale since last February when it came with $1.39 million hopes.

It was briefly under offer in mid-2017 at $1,275,000.

Local builder Janet Williamson and architect Ed Eames combined to create a state-of-the-art apartment complex of six apartments.

The previous highest price sales in the complex were in 2015 off the plan at $1,125,000.
