Space Real Estate agent Scott Swingler has secured an offer for his City Beach trophy home.

It is a sandcastle beach-inspired City Beach mansion.

It is the second highest sale in City Beach, with the record remaining at 45 Boscombe Ave, City Beach, which was sold for $7.2 million in 2012.

Tani and Tim Richards purchased an old beach house at 64 Branksome Gardens 26 years ago and transformed the property into an six-bedroom sandcastle-esque home in 2013.

The property was initially tipped to take out the suburb’s sales record.

The house, which is built over three levels, has an elevator.

It was constructed by hand from solid limestone.

Mrs Richards, who grew up in the prestigious coastal suburb, said her childhood was spent at the beach, building sandcastles.
