Channel Nine boss Hugh Marks buys Neutral Bay pad

The Channel Nine boss Hugh Marks is whispered to have snapped up a $2 million Neutral Bay investment apartment.

The three bedroom Hughview Avenue apartment has Harbour Bridge view and water glimpses.

There had been $1.8 million pre-auction price guidance.

The early 1970s apartment last sold in 2013 at $1.3 million fetched just above the suburb's three bedroom $1,775,000 median.

Marks owns a bungalow in nearby Artarmon that he bought for $765,000 in the late 1990s. He has investment apartment in Mosman and Surry Hills, totalling over $1.5 million.

He has been boss of Nine since 2015, with his previous roles including CEO of the Southern Star Group.
