Sales of trophy apartments continued in Sydney despite the elevated lockdown restrictions.

There was a $3.3 million sale of a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in Harry Seidler’s Horizon building.

The panorama includes Sydney’s Harbour, Bridge, Opera House, and the CBD skyline from its 23rd floor.

It sold in February 2020 at $2.4 million.

It was sold by Richardson & Wrench Elizabeth Bay.

There were 685 auction results for apartments and townhouses across the capital cities over the past week, with a 68 percent success rate, according to CoreLogic.

Sydney had 79 percent success rates for the 291 apartment auctions.

Melbourne had a 63 percent success rate from 343 apartment and townhouse offerings, on what was Melbourne's second busiest weekend this year.

Melbourne's top apartment sale was $1.68 million in Port Melbourne.

The three bedroom apartment has views across the waters of Port Phillip Bay spanning from Williamstown, past St.Kilda and down towards the Mornington Peninsula.

It last sold at $935,000 in 2007.

The complex has an in-ground swimming pool and a gymnasium.
