Melbourne Cricket Club Foundation sells Jolimont heritage homes

The Melbourne Cricket Club Foundation has sold two Jolimont heritage homes.
They had been listed with a $6 million combined expectation.
Bromo, at 28 Jolimont Terrace was built in 1865 for John Bruce, father of former prime minister Stanley Melbourne Bruce, according to the East Melbourne Historical Society, before their move to St Kilda.
It was expected to fetch mid-$2 million.
The two-storey, six-bedroom residence, at 26 Jolimont Terrace with bluestone cellar, had mid-$3 million expectations.
Number 26, configured as office space, sold for $4.1 million with three bidders, while number 28, a Victorian terrace house on 347 square metres, passed in at $2.45 million, but sold later.
