A South Melbourne apartment featured in 2013’s season of The Block has hit the market with a $2 million to $2.2 million price guide.

The three bedroom, four bathroom home is for sale for the second time after it was taken to auction as part of The Block/

It boasts a teppanyaki grill, wine room, solar power, butler’s pantry, Bosch ovens and two car spaces, and is listed through Belle Property Albert Park’s Stephanie Evans and David Wood.

The first West Australian couple on the block, Matt and Kim, renovated the residence for the 2013 series of the show, which transformed a former hotel into apartments.

It sold at that year’s auctions for $1.455 million, netting the couple $250,000 in profit and third place on the show. They have since gone on to create a concrete furniture brand.

The home first sold for $1.455 million, then resold for $1.9 million in 2017.

Mr Wood said the current owners, who had leased out the property, have had a change in their real estate requirements, but noted the price growth evident in the home’s transaction history.
