The ultra-luxury development on the Southport Spit is being developed by&nbsp;Gordon Corp founder Tim Gordon and Bruce Mathieson Group baron Bruce Mathieson. The project marks the first significant development of The Spit since the establishment of Palazzo Versace over two decades ago.

The Rothelowman-designed development comprises 24 waterfront two, three, and four-bedroom apartments and villas, as well as the&nbsp;exclusive Mataray Health Club and a 67-berth superyacht marina and resort facilities. He said the family members who have purchased the two four-bedroom villas at The Mantaray are downsizing from their homes in Paradise Waters and were drawn to the privacy, security and absolute waterfront position of the homes.

Gordon Corp quietly opened the doors to its $5 million, 800 sqm sales display in May, transforming the former Golden Door Health Retreat into an ultra-luxury display suite and residence.
