Scali paid a reported price of around $35 million for the 616 sqm in 2021.

The lease to the Savoy Hotel has expired - paving the way for redevelopment to create nine apartments above three ground-level retail spaces - no doubt a potential new space for the Nick Scali furniture empire in the heart of one of Sydney's most affluent shopping suburbs.
