At $825,000, a median priced Sydney house is almost $200,000 more expensive than one in Melbourne, according to CoreLogic.

It’s more than double the median price of a Hobart home, and almost $300,000 more than a typical house in Perth.

Property Observer looks at recent sales to see just how far $825,000 will go in some of Australia’s other capital cities.
