UNIQLO’s first Sydney store opens today

Japanese retailer UNIQLO opened this morning at Sydney’s newly refurbished Macquarie Centre.

The first full scale store for the retailer in Sydney spans over 1,514 square metres.

At the official launch today there were be Japanese drummers, gift bags and coffee, DJ entertainment and a ribbon cutting ceremony led by UNIQLO Australia chief executive Shoichi Miyasaka.

It’s not the only much-awaited store for Macquarie Centre with Zara, Gap and H&M also taking up residence in the complex.
