The asking price of the Muckleford, Victoria property with a green-and-yellow W-class tram as its centrepiece, has been reduced to $410,000.

The three-bedroom, one-bathroom home, 10 A Frame Track, Muckleford, had been initially marketed at $439,000.

Set on 20 acres, 130 kilometres north-west of the CBD, the home has been fashioned around the tram including mud brick sections.

The trams were produced between 1923 and 1956 by the Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board.

Owner Gary Markoff paid about $1000 to buy the decommissioned vehicle and haul it to the country about 35 years ago.

Cantwell Property, Castlemaine, agent Genevieve Cantwell, is selling the home.
