RP Data has collated median unit values across Australia for December 2013 to bring us the 10 most affordable capital city suburbs for units.
As expected, South Australia, Tasmania and Queensland come out on top.
- Elizabeth Vale, South Australia.
Median unit value: $143,425. 45.9% of homes in Elizabeth Vale are owner occupied, according to ABS data. Elizabeth Vale is a northern suburb of Adelaide. - Elizabeth North, South Australia.
Median unit value: $159, 348. Five minute's drive north of Elizabeth Vale, the suburb was established by the South Australian Housing Trust in 1955. 43.4% of homes in Elizabeth North were owner-occupied.
