Sydney house price growth greater than other cities this year: RP Data

Sydney house prices have increased more than any other capital city so far this year, rising 2.9% in the year to date, according to RP Data.

It was closely followed by Melbourne at 2.5% so far this year.

Over the last 12 months Perth has increased the most, at 4.8%, but a drop of 1.8% in the last month has put the year to date growth at 2.8%.
