Sydney auctioneer Damien Cooley takes star billing as last minute Block Sky High listing agent
The Block Sky High contestants Matt and Kim's marketing campaign kicked off with only 17 days until the auction hammer.
While other contestants secured agents months earlier, Matt and Kim were slow to secure an agent and get the marketing campaign underway.
In the end the selling agent sign board showed the agent was Kent Morgan of the recently established Morgan Realty who was familiar with The Block as he sold the challenge house for the 2012 Dorcas Street terrace series of The Block when he worked with the Frank Gordon Port Melbourne agency.
He also listed the four unrenovated Dorcas Street terraces and Dan and Dani's South Melbourne terrace when he was at RT Edgar.
However come auction day the Morgan name and streetside sales billboard was gone.
All replaced by the Sydney auctioneer Damien Cooley of Cooley Auctions who had been previously engaged just to fly down for the auctioneering. There was also the close attendance by McDonald Real Estate Aspendale Gardens auctioneer Michael Choi who appeared to be assisting Cooley.
Mystery surrounds the departure of Morgan.
Title Tattle hasn't noticed much Twitter although there was something from Aroundthe block.
Cooley was no stranger either to the show as last night's auction marked the fourth time Cooley Auctions has starred on Channel Nine’s TV series The Block.
The winning Adelaide twins Alisa and Lysandra secured Anton Wongtrakun and Rochelle Wilson of Dingle Partners who were then involved in the planning and design process from the earliest of weeks.
