Submissions for the annual REA Excellence Awards close 30 June

Submissions for the annual REA Excellence Awards, featuring 22 awards across three categories, close 30 June.

The awards, to be held Thursday 16 November, consist of three categories: Innovation, Service and Marketing Excellence and Community.

Judges include Chris Gray, host of Your Property Empire, Greg Dickason, EGM Real Estate and Partnerships – Australia, CoreLogic RP Data and Tim McKibbin, Chief Executive Officer, Real Estate Institute of New South Wales amongst others.

The award categories each customer group can enter include:

  • Residential Real Estate Agents & Property Managers
  • Commercial Real Estate Agents
  • Developers, Home Builders and Project Marketers.
  • Media Agencies and Clients

2016 winners included Laing + Simmons, who won the award for Game Changer of the Year - Residential after building a Virtual Reality platform. 

Developer Office Hub won the Excellence in Customer Service Award - Commercial as well as the Game Changer of the Year - Commercial.

GardenHill by Beulah International won Game Changer of the Year - Developer.

Amity Property Group won Excellence in Customer Service Award - Developer 

Burgess Rawson won Brand Campaign of the Year - Commercial. According to REA, Burgess Rawson won the award for transitioning from more traditional media channels to utilizing a cutting-edge realcommercial.com.au digital product to help build their brand online and stand out from the crowd.

Ray White Double Bay won the New Home Marketing Campaign of the Year Award - Developer for their work on The Gordon. REA said the Uniting Church of Australia owned a derelict car park in Paddington that was to be turned into residential property, The Gordon and through the execution of an integrated marketing campaign, there were over 450 qualified pre-registrations that resulted in all 19 apartments being sold in 19 minutes, totalling $26 million.

Capitol Grand by LK Property Group won Brand Campaign of the Year - Developer

CBRE Melbourne won Campaign of the Year Award - Commercial
