Sports centre in Strathpine, Brisbane sold for $2 million

A commercial building with a long-term tenant in Brisbane’s Strathpine has fetched $2 million.

A private investor picked up the 2,200 square metre property, at 3/104 Gympie Road, Strathpine.

The sale reflected a yield of 8.5%.

Handling the sale was Dillon Murphy and Trevor Nelson-Jones of Ray White Brisbane Northside.

The building is leased to Inside Sportz, with a returning rental income of more than $170,000 per annum. The lease is in place until 2017, with a five year option.

“The sports centre is situated on approximately 3,382 square metre of land and features indoor cricket, netball, soccer and beach volleyball facilities", said Mr Murphy.
