Shop and dwelling up for auction in Melbourne's Seaford
A freestanding shop and dwelling at Seaford on Melbourne’s south-eastern bayside will go under the hammer on August 25 with price expectations of more than $800,000.
The 290 Seaford Road property comprises a solid brick shop and double storey, three bedroom, dwelling totaling 250 square metres. It is located within Belvedere Park Shopping Centre on the intersection of Frankston-Dandenong Road and Seaford Road.
Teska Carson’s George Takis and Gideon Marcus are marketing the property.
The retail and residential components have the potential for separate tenancies.
Belvedere Park Shopping Centre comprises about 20 specialty retailers anchored by an IGA supermarket.
“With interest rates low and returns from other asset classes somewhat less attractive recently we are seeing the smaller investor and self-managed super funds enter the market in much higher numbers and it’s properties such as this that have been prominent in sales results,’’ Marcus said.
