Fitzroys has sold a landmark commercial site in Melbourne’s inner-west, with a Seddon corner site fetching $4.6 million under the hammer.

The 833 square metre property at 70 Charles Street, on the corner of Charles and Victoria Streets, comprises two individual titles.

Fitzroys agent Michael Ryan said more than 100 enquiries were received during the campaign, with four bidders competing for the property.

He said an offshore investor/developer won out after the bidding pushed the price $1 million above the reserve.

The Commercial 1-zoned site was offered with vacant possession.
