Secon Freight Logistics (Secon), a leading transport company, have secured a 33,310 sqm facility in Truganina.

Secon partnered with specialist property and supply chain firm, TM Insight, to secure the new Truganina facility.

The new building at 47-53 Foundation Road, Truganina was developed by Dexus and will be under a long-term lease term with Secon commencing July 2019.

This is the largest deal for an existing building in Victoria this year and comes after Secon’s recent commitment to a 21,000 sqm purpose-built logistics hub on 90,000 sqm of land in Truganina with Berton Investments.

The development features two warehouses with high internal clearance to maximise storage volume and multiple access points for vehicles.

The two warehouses are 17,910 sqm and 15,400 sqm plus the site will also feature 6,000 sqm of super-canopy areas to protect the loading of vehicles.

Nathan Bingham, Director of Property at TM Insight says, “These recent commitments by Secon establish them as one of the largest occupiers of industrial space in Victoria, firmly cementing Secon’s position amongst the major players in the transport and logistics sector.”
