Clydesdale Manor, the Georgian style mansion ran as a luxury small hotel in Sandy Bay, has been listed with $2.9 million.

The stately property at 292 Sandy Bay Road was built as a gentleman's residence in the 1880s and has been operated for many years as a successful bed and breakfast.

It was most recently ran by Red Awnings.

The property comprises eight ensuite rooms and a self-contained one bedroom apartment.

There's a formal lounge with open fireplace and a dining room.

The property at the end of a circular gravel lined driveway sits in 1960 sqm of formal gardens which feature mature deciduous trees and tows of dox hedged.

It is being sold on a walk-in, walk-out basis by Steve Yannarakis at St Andrews Estate agents.

Yannarakis suggests it could be converted back in to a residential property under its zoning.
