Thehomepage.com.au property portal now offers a new Chinese-language listings category.

Property developers have embraced the new Chinese-language listings opportunity, with more than 50 off-the-plan property development advertisements upgraded to appear in both English and Chinese only one week into the new feature.

Chinese buyers, both local and from Asia, account for about 60% of enquiries and purchases in developments across Australia, according data collected from developers by Thehomepage.com.au.

Thehomepage.com.au chief Ben Stockdale says it is the only major Australian portal with listings in Chinese.

Thehomepage.com.au’s listings are translated into Mandarin by a team of linguists.
