Pressing the right Chinese button for Australian real estate sales

The translation from English to Chinese is almost becoming a pre-requistite for significant property marketing campaigns.

And a simple flag that represents the nationality of the reader is the catchy way property sellers are presenting their offerings to an international audience.

The latest Summit Discovery Point marketing campaign from Australand has the easy translation available after pressing the Chinese flag located in the digital advertisement's lower right hand corner.

Meriton has been a market leader in the arena.

Local estate agencies are also making the switch.

Fletchers, the Melbourne agency, has been an industry leader. Fletchers' site has 16 flagged buttons for its language translation.

In addition to the principal Chinese button, there is French, Japanese, Russian, Hebrew and Greek (pictured below).

Last week the switch was done by Richardson & Wrench Mosman.

"We did it due to the sudden influx of sale to mainland Chinese buyers," says Robert Simeon from the R&W office.

The translation is via Google, which might not be the best translation tool.
