The Laundy/Short partnership have purchased both the Mona Vale Hotel on Sydney's northern beaches and Northies at Cronulla for a combined price of around $57 million.

The two landmark Sydney establishments, Northies and the Mona Vale Hotel, were offered by the Fernwood Hotel Group Pty Ltd.

Ray White Hotels' Andrew Jolliffe handled the sale to Arthur and Stu Laundy in partnership with Fraser Short, soon after after the marketing began in conjunction with Mike Wheatley, of Knight Frank.

The partnership operates the Watson's Bay Hotel.

Peter Beaumont’s Fernwood Hotel Group retains The Exchange at Balmain and the Greengate at Killara.
