Language school will feel at home in Spanish Quarter‏

The Instituto Cervantes, the world's largest provider focused on teaching the Spanish language, has found a new home in Sydney close to the CBD’s so-called Spanish quarter.

The institute, which has offices in 43 countries, has secured 348 sqm of office space at Level 3, 299 Sussex Street, Sydney, in a deal negotiated by Ray White Commercial South Sydney’s John Skufris.

The Instituto Cervantes will be relocating to the city centre from premises near Sydney University at 22-24 City Road, Chippendale.

The Instituto Cervantes operates in 90 cities from 43 countries in the five continents. The Instituto Cervantes Sydney was inaugurated by the King and Queen of Spain, together with the Australian authorities, in 2009.

The Instituto Cervantes has taken out an initial lease term at 299 Sussex St of five years at a net rental of $130,000 per annum or $375 per sqm per annum.
