Marketed as one of the most iconic buildings in country Victoria, the landmark building in the Macedon Ranges north of Melbourne currently operates as a boutique hotel, as well as an associated lifestyle and home-wares store known as 'Mollisons'.
It was built in the early 1900's by notable architects Godfrey and Spowers with an asymmetrical red brick facade, steep gables, terra-cotta tiled roof, tall chimneys and distinctive Art Nouveau lettering.
Listed architecturally of State Importance, the 680 sqm building is an early example of the Edwardian Free Style.
