A new Melbourne restaurant – known as Hazel - is due to open on Monday the 14th of October.

Located inside the T&G Building at 164 Flinders Lane, Hazel will be open Monday – Saturday for lunch from 12pm to 4pm and for dinner from 6.00pm – 11.00pm and for Sunday lunches from 11am – 5.00pm.

“We want our produce to speak for itself” said Head Chef Zac Nicholson.

“We have a great relationship with our suppliers and want to represent their product as best we can. We will be creating dishes that we like to eat, that are simple and approachable and add to the overall guest experience.”

The venue has also stated that they will boast a wine list of upwards of 120 bottles, as well as a beer selection from local breweries.

The Hazel’s sister venue, Dessous, is slated to open 1 week later on Monday the 21st.

Both ventures are backed by the Cremorne-based Mulberry Group.
