The former Harp of Erin Hotel now converted to two apartments has been sold by mortgagees in Abbotsford for $1.72 million.

It was sold by Andrew Simondson and Julie Susnjara from Collins Simms.

Located at 22 Park Street, it features a duo of two bedroom apartments both with separate entrances.

There is a large backyard, generous first floor terrace and city skyline view.

It is set on a 286 square metre lot.

The agents marketed the property has having significant potential.

The substantial Victorian building retains high ceilings, period detail and modern enhancements.

It is close to Victoria and Smith Streets' restaurants and shops, Yarra River parkland/trails, Convent Arts complex, Melbourne's sports precinct and the CBD.

The suburb's median unit price sits on $540,000, according to CoreLogic.
