Hanabishi Japanese restaurant Melbourne premises fetch $4.89 million

Adjoining Melbourne buildings at 187 and 189 King Street have been sold to investors.

They went for $4.89 million and $5.32 million respectively.

Both were sold by private families who had used the properties for restaurant businesses.

The 187 King Street premises was double a-storey building on 187 square metres of land, sold fully leased to Hanabishi Japanese restaurant.

The double-storey building on the 186 square metre site at 189 King was sold vacant possession.

Generational changes of ownership prompted both sales, CBRE's Alex Brierley advised.
