The well-known Sunshine Coast Humzy family hopes to sell its major resort and land property near Maroochydore for about $10 million.

The Maroochy Waterfront Resort at Diddillibah has a popular 64-room motel set beside a natural forest reserve and lagoon.

There are 20 holiday cottages, 23 relocatable homes, a freehold lagoon and 33 hectares of land with has development approval for residential development and integrated tourism.

Allen Humzy built the resort in the early 1980s for budget holidays and his son Phil currently runs the resort.

The resort attracts families, sporting groups and school camps and offers an income producing business to operate while developing the residential land.

Agent Andrew Jackson from CBRE is calling for offers in collaboration with Rob from Elite Lifestyle Properties and Peter Ward of Ward Commercial.
