Crown Street, Darlinghurst terrace sells for $2,575,000 under the hammer

There was a $1.8 million opening bid when the terrace at 116 Crown Street, Darlinghurst went to mid-week auction.

Laing & Simmons Potts Point agent Nuri Shik had the corner offering, listed for the first time in half a century.

It fetched $2,575,000 when knocked down by auctionWORKS auctioneer David Scholes.

It was extensively renovation in 2004.

It came with three suites - 90 square metres, 145 square metres and 101 square metresall with private entries.

The commercial suite is leased for $601 per week, expiring in January 2015.
