The Chatswood retail space, home to the former Fook Yuen Seafood Restaurant, has been listed for lease.

It is billed as unlocking a premier business opportunity in one of the North Shore’s most enviable locations.

Fook Yuen, a Chatswood institution for more than three decades, closed its doors to its podium level restaurant at 7 Help Street in October last year.

CBRE agents Amy Pfeiffer and James Beerworth have been appointed to lease the 941sqm space.

It is located inside the nine-storey building at the junction of Help and Railway streets.

"This high profile space could suit a large scale food & beverage operation, fitness or education facility, medical user or office,” Ms Pfeiffer said.

The property is offered for lease with 10 security car spaces and a single lockup garage.

The commercial grade kitchen has existing connections to grease and exhaust extraction, making it suitable as a future hospitality operation.

“With an influx of restaurant operators from Sydney’s Chinatown looking to break into the Chatswood market, we expect there will be competitive interest in the offering,” Ms Pfeiffer added.
