A retail building in the heart of Brisbane's CBD has been sold fully leased for $9.3 million to a private investor.

Located opposite the Wintergarden Centre, 153 Elizabeth Street has a net lettable area of 976 sqm and vehicle access via Charlotte St.

Ray White Commercial Queensland director of sales, John Dwyer, sold the property on behalf of Brisbane development company DeMartini Fletcher.

He said bidding started at $5 million and there were more than 30 bids before the property was sold under the hammer.
