Bourke & Bowden DA lodged for $55 million Alexandria office building

An Alexandria office development application valued at $55 million has been lodged and is now under under assessment by Sydney City Council.

The DA has been submitted on behalf of Podia and SkyLife Group.

Bates Smart has been employed as the architects for the project, working alongside them are landscape architect's Turf Design Studio, planning consultant City Plan and civil engineer ADG.

Situated on two titles at, 3-27 Bourke Road and 41-43 Bowden Street, the proposal seeks consent for a building envelope up to a maximum height of 18 metres.

The Stage 1 DA has the building accommodating a maximum of 20,225 square metres of floor space, with indicative commercial and retail uses, plus excavation for one basement carpark.

It will have parking for 172 vehicles

Comprising three levels of commercial office space above a mixed commercial/retail use ground floor, the development application was lodged on the first of August 2019.

The site is set on a 8,090 square metre land holding.
