The former Bondi Junction commercial space of the Traditional Chip Shop is being offered with no rental payments until next year.

The Traditional Fish Shop had had a brand new lease term of 10 x 10 years when the property at 1/78 Bronte Road sold two years ago for $1.74 million.

They were paying $104,000 per annum for the lease. The shop has been up for lease since May when it was asking $93,600 per annum.

The two level property, which was marketed as recently built when sold in 2016, has 165 sqm space including the loading dock and storage area.

It is equipped with a grease trap, cool rooms and freezer.

The Brit-targeted Traditional Chip Shop was set up by an Irish couple living in Sydney.

TV chef Colin Fassnidge, from Dublin, was on hand at the official opening in 2015.
