Barcaldine House, Musk vineyard listed with $1.5 million hopes

There are 2100 vines at the Victorian winery, Barcaldine House, which is up for sale with $1.5 million hopes through Biggin Scott.

The Musk property comes with a restaurant, cellar door with tasting room, studio apartment and a four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence.

The property is set to go backwards in price having last traded for $1.7 million in 2014.

It spent two years on the market, having initially sought $2.6 million when first listed in 2012.

Sitting on 15 hectares, around 10 minutes from Daylesford, the grand estate ahas English-inspired gardens, 200 established olive trees, a spring fed dam, irrigation system, plus several paddocks.

There is even a helipad at the 238 Dairy Flat Road.

The winery at Barcaldine House specialises in pinot and chardonnay varieties, which have been establishing themselves in the rich volcanic soil of the estate for many years.

The estate can also hold weddings of up to 80 guests.
