Amalgamated Holdings set to open QT Wellington, New Zealand

Amalgmated Holdings has paid $NZ28.5 million for the Museum Art Hotel in Wellington, New Zealand.

It was bought from local entrepreneur Chris ­Parkin.

It is to become a QT hotel.

Amalgamated Holdings managing director David Seargeant said Museum Art Hotel would be a great fit with the QT brand.

Amalgamated Holdings operates Rydges Hotels in Auckland, Rotorua, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown.
