In the recent property market dip, St Albans, Victoria all but avoided the fate of the rest of the Victoria market.

Since 2009 to present day, the value of a house in St Albans has increased by 100%. This is despite a small drop in house values since mid-2018 (seen below).

Apartment prices have seen a similar trend although with smaller growth overall and a less stable median price, according to the latest data.

As of September 2019 the median house price in St Albans is $580,000, double the 2009 value of $290,000.
