Value of investor loans rises in March: CoreLogic

The value of investor loans rose in March, according to CoreLogic’s latest June report.

The property data firm says that however investments are at its lowest point since August 2016.

NSW has the highest percentage of investors committed with 46.5% as of March this year while Tasmania is the lowest with only 25.8 percent of investors committed.

Conversely the percentage of owner occupier new loans in Tasmania is higher than that of NSW with Tasmania having 56.8 percent while NSW only has 36 percent.

Owner occupier loans are currently valued at $14.1 billion compared to investor loans of $13 billion.
