A Travancore, Victoria mortgagee unit has sold for $303,000.

The latest sale price represents a $189,500 reduction in sale price compared to 2013 when it transacted for $492,500.

Philip Mazzella of Trimson Partners marketed the listing.

Situated at 1214/18 Mount Alexander Road, the home was sold during a July auction.

The two bedroom, one bathroom apartment was listed for rent shortly after it was purchased in 2013 at $380/pw, and a year later in 2014 at $335/pw.

It was also listed for rent in February 2019 seeking $360/pw.

Built in 2012, the property is currently a tenured rental.

Located on the 12th floor of the ALT Tower, the unit holds views across Melbourne and the South.

According to CoreLogic, the annual change in Travancore's median price over the past 10 years is -1.3%.
