A Tamworth, New South Wales mortgagee home has been sold for $230,000.

Situated at 70 Church Street, Bryan Bolitho of Raine and Horne Tamworth were marketing the house.

The weatherboard and iron cottage consists of three bedroom, one bathroom, updated kitchen and study or office.

It also features open fireplace and rear access with room for sheds or garage. 

The home is situated in Central West within walking distance to the CBD.

It was last sold in 2012 for $227,500.
