New South Wales auction results for week ending Sunday August 9 show a preliminary clearance rate of 78% from 1008 scheduled auctions.

According to data from realestate.com.au, 477 were sold at auction within NSW, 119 passed in and 173 selling prior.
 
Victoria had a clearance rate of 79% from 1057 total scheduled auctions, Queensland a clearance rate of 62% from 141 total scheduled auctions, South Australia 81%, and Western Australia 44%.
 
One standout property in Sydney's Bardwell Park was an 986 sqm block complete with brick three bedroom home which sold for $1,775,000.
