A one bedroom Croydon Park unit was Sydney's cheapest weekend auction sale, reflecting a sale with a gross 4.7% yield.

It was 1/9 Queensbrough Road which sold to an investor through Unique Property Real Estate agent Hellio Dias.

The size was 42 sqm.

The now renovated 1965 apartment last sold at $200,000 in 2009, reflecting 10% annual growth after renovation. It was last up for rent in early 2014 with a $345 weekly asking rental.

There was only one other sale at below $500,000 across Sydney.

There were three sales under $500,000 around the Charmhaven district.
