Pace Development Group has sold around 50 percent of the medium density project Pace of Collingwood only one week since launching.

"New apartments with an old soul" is how Pace Development Group describe their latest project a residential development of 77 apartments over nine levels.

Prices started at $430,000.

Ten apartments have been sold to Sydney buyers, reflecting differences in the property market across Australia's two biggest cities.

“The Pace of Collingwood development offers top quality, architecturally designed apartments in the desirable Collingwood suburb that is just over 1km from the heart of Melbourne.

"This is an attractive offer for the asking price and we believe this is why Sydney-siders are so interested,” says Andrew Crichton, Pace Development Group"s marketing manager.

During launch weekend, an estimated 250 interested parties visited the display suite in Collingwood.

The building is located in the heart of Collingwood at 75 Wellington Street, on the corner of Wellington and Langridge Street. It has an east orientation with views from the Melbourne City skyline to the Dandenong Ranges.

Construction commences mid 2017.
